Donskoy Cats Breeder and Kittens For Sale!

Life Of Donskoy is involved only in purebred Donskoy cats. Our Donskoy kittens cattery has kittens for sale about 2 times a year. We are registered with the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association). After five years of studying championship pedigree bloodlines, attending many CFA cat shows, seeking advice and guidance from established show winning breeders, we CFA Granded our first homebred cat in 2010. We also hold the CFA Cattery of excellence award certificate.

To offer our cats the utmost care, we have converted our home attached two car garage into a large cattery. Here our cats enjoy spacious, climate controlled living quarters with emphasis on personal attention, grooming, sanitation and good health husbandry practices. We feed our kittens royal canin mother & baby cat dry food along with lean raw ground beef (blue ridge beef) and our adults are presently eating purina one true instinct natural real chicken plus vitamins & minerals grain free dry cat food. We use frisco clumping cat litter (available on chewy) for all our Donskoys.

The focus of our breeding program is to produce Donskoy kittens as close to the CFA breed standard as possible. Please examine our pedigrees. We have chosen winning bloodlines with sweet expressions and loving personalities as our foundation cats. We occasionally have pet kittens available but we breed for CFA show quality.

We will gladly put you on our waiting list for future litters if we don’t have what you are presently interested in. Our breeding cats are not for sale nor do we offer any outside stud services. We occasionally will post a retired altered Donskoy for sale to a pet home.

There is a pet contract. You will be required to agree to these contracts should you purchase a Donskoy from Life Of Donskoy. We hope you enjoy visiting our website and thank you for your interest!

Our adult Donskoy cats have been selected based on their wonderful temperaments and beauty. We take great care in protecting the health of our kittens. For that reason they are never allowed outdoors but can often be found sitting in the windows where they enjoy plenty of fresh air and sunshine. They are raised with love by our family and are not caged. We will ship via air cargo if you are interested from far away. We have done it before and the process is professional enough for what we pay.

*Before a prospective owner starts searching for a pedigreed Donskoy, they must realize that good quality kittens do not come cheap.  For those looking for a “cheap” kitten you may want to try your local humane society or animal shelter. While you can find breeders selling kittens at a low pricing, I am confident you will not find higher quality ones and in my opinion you get what you pay for.  Cheaper is not always better.  Low pricing may indicate that a breeder does not care about the parents and are not investing in having their parents tested, vaccinated which in turn may cause unhealthy kittens.  Saving a few hundred initially may just cost you thousands in vet bills later.

Adopting a Kitten

Any professional good reputable cat breeder will provide a contract covering the kitten’s health as well as providing receipts for both the deposits and balances paid.  A lot of cat breeders will not make you aware that their contracts will state you have a certain period of time to get your kitten into the veterinarian in order to be covered by your contract’s health guarantee and will spring this information on you at pickup.  On most occasions kittens are reserved weeks in advance and we can then provide you your kitten pickup date so you have an ample amount of time to make your veterinarian appointment. (*However, on some occasion where kittens become available last minute due to cancellations etc and you can not get in to see a veterinarian at a regular doctor’s office we strongly recommend going to a veterinary walk in clinic so you will be covered under the kitten contract’s health guarantee). Prior to your kitten leaving us we can give you our recommendations on what we think should be done on your kitten’s first vet visit, but ultimately it is up to you as the new pet owner.   We strongly suggest you consult with your veterinarian in regards to decisions of what vaccinations to do and when, deworming, the various types of testing ex: blood, urine, fecal, heart, etc. to be done on the FIRST vet visit. We encourage you to also do your own research.
